Train riders in Marin and Sonoma counties continued to face delays Tuesday, the day after massive flooding in Novato closed the railroad tracks near Hanna Ranch Road. The water receded Tuesday as the weather cleared from weeks of rain, but it still affected tracks in the area, said Matt Stevens, a spokesperson for Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit. SMART warned riders to expect up to 20-minute delays Tuesday. Trains returned to regular schedules by the late afternoon, Stevens said. 'Trains actually can pass through water up to a certain point,' he said.
