The Novato High baseball team battled into the ninth inning of its North Coast Section Division III playoff game against Campolindo on Friday, eventually losing 2-1 to end its season.The No. 6 seed Hornets (17-9) began the game on the right note, scoring their only run in the first inning. Julian Oliver hit a one-out double and later came around to score on a two-out double by J.P. Harmon. Campolindo, the No. 3 seed, tied the game in the bottom of the third but Harmon didn't allow another run while pitching seven innings for Novato.
